Mexican Cold Brew Iced Coffee
Ingredients:
- 1 cup coarsely ground coffee beans
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2-3 whole cloves
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- Ice cubes
- Whipped cream optional
- Ground cinnamon optional
Instructions:
In a large jar or pitcher, combine the coarsely ground coffee beans and cold water
Add the cinnamon stick and whole cloves to the jar, and stir to combine
Cover the jar with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 12 hours or overnight to steep
After steeping, strain the cold brew coffee through a fine-mesh sieve or coffee filter into a clean jar or pitcher
In a separate bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and whole milk until well combined
To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the cold brew coffee over the ice, leaving some room at the top
Pour the milk mixture over the cold brew coffee, adjusting the amount to your taste
Stir gently to combine
Optionally, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon for extra indulgence
